民進黨立委趙天麟公布與洪仲丘同期禁閉生訪談內容後，禁閉生就受到軍檢約談，被懷疑是想「施壓下封口令」。但最高軍法院檢察長曹金生18日則駁斥說，有筆錄與偵查庭錄影錄音存證，他強調「軍事檢察官絕不會做這種事」。
民進黨立委趙天麟18日上午在高雄召開記者會，公布與陸軍下士洪仲丘同期的禁閉生訪談內容，指控部隊幹部在操練時凌虐洪仲丘，還放任洪倒地抽搐掙扎，也不積極施救。為保護證人，趙天麟沒有公布任何目擊者資料。也要求軍檢依照證人保護法將所有同期禁閉生列為保護對象。
不料，在記者會一結束後，禁閉生就受到軍檢約談。趙天麟說，早上才開完記者會，在接近中午時，6名與洪仲丘同期的禁閉生都受到軍檢的約談，他強調軍檢若是再度施壓證人不得對外發聲，以便官官相護，他將追究國防部、軍檢責任絕不寬貸，也不排除公佈更多隱情。
國防部最高軍事法院檢察署檢察長曹金生則否認這樣的說法，他受訪時語氣激動的強調，相關偵察記錄都有筆錄可憑，偵查庭也有錄影錄音，他保證軍事檢察官不會這麼做，否則以後要如何保證提供線索的證人安全，並取信外界？
至於有多少人受到約談，曹金生則以偵察不公開為由，拒絕透露。
