由於傳出可能嫁入中信金控，而且每股喊價25、26元，台灣人壽今(22)日盤中股價一度上漲逾4%，每股來到23.7元，中信金股價漲幅也逾1%，不過，對於市場傳聞，台壽表示，純屬臆測及推估，目前尚無明確的合作或整併對象。
台壽大股東龍邦3月底時公告，基於轉投資公司台灣人壽的長期發展，授權台灣人壽經營團隊啟動與優質金融機構或金控公司洽談策略合作或整併相關事宜。
據傳，台壽曾與台灣金、第一金及兆豐金等公股金控洽談併購，但今日更傳最可能下嫁積極擴大壽險版圖的中信金，而且已快要進入討論價格階段，台壽希望售出價格每股25、26元以上，投銀圈則預估，最終成交價應介於每股21-26元之間。
受到併購題材的激勵，今日台壽股價一度來到23.7元、漲幅達4.6%，但隨後又拉回至23.2元左右震盪，而中信金股價也一度上漲1.3%，每股目前最高曾來到19.35元。
不過，對於可能嫁入中信金的傳聞，台壽發布重大訊息表示，純屬臆測及推估，台壽目前尚無明確的合作或整併對象，對於併購，台壽將徵詢主要股東意見並獲支持下，依照有關法規程序辦理。
