分析、諮詢及嵌入式處理技術及應用設計公司伯克利設計技術公司宣佈，將為行動裝置包括智慧型手機和平板電腦等打造一套全新的用戶體驗評測系統 。這套以消費者為中心的評測系統將可為消費者提供一個工具協助測量各種行動裝置中對使用者產生直接影響因素的體驗，包括電池續航力、應用程式處理速度及網路效能等。

考量到市場迫切需求一種以消費者體驗為關注重點、具有實際意義且透明的行動基準測試，這項計畫由BDTI聯合行動終端晶片組的產業領導廠商美國高通技術公司（QTI，美國高通公司的全資子公司）共同發起，並獲得中國最大的網路媒體平台供應商之一騰訊公司的支持。
