臺中市發展社區推動深地文化之旅（記者賴淑禎攝）

到臺中市可以怎麼玩呢？可以很都會也可以深入在地老臺中人的生活記憶空間，臺中市政府文化局輔導8個特色社區推出「臺中市社區深度文化之旅」，每個社區結合周遭人文、地景、產業等特色，規劃了8條路線13個梯次，其中有5個梯次是2天的行程，民眾可以到文化局網站報名參加，體驗臺中社區之美。
文化局副局長曾能汀在22日的記者會中表示，社區深度文化之旅藉由不同形式的套裝遊程，讓民眾感受到專屬臺中的生活記憶。活動自8月20日起接受民眾網路報名，共8條路線13梯次，每梯次開放40位名額，活動至10月20日止，旅程規劃有採果、摘菜、農夫市集，還有芋粿、葡萄醋及藍染DIY，以及泰雅原住民生活體驗、城隍社區巡禮等等豐富的旅程。
社區規劃深度文化之旅遊程，開放給一般民眾報名參加，不僅促進地方經濟的活絡、鼓勵年輕人回流，更對在地文化傳承具有代表性的意義。
