萬金聖殿迎聖嬰　人潮護送跟牛車

【陳宏銘／屏東報導】「哈利路亞」、「耶誕快樂」的招呼聲，今晚在152年歷史的萬金聖母聖殿周遭街道間此起彼落。慶祝年度盛事的聖誕夜活動，數萬民眾及教友參與萬金百年傳統的迎聖嬰活動，跟著牛車簇擁在教堂與赤山社區迎聖嬰動線中，氣氛平和神聖。從高雄旗山來的林武弘表示，整個社區處處有馬槽裝飾或聖經壁畫，好溫馨、好漂亮，「神聖的氣氛，讓我很感動！」
 
今晚八點登場的迎聖嬰活動，由一群穿聖誕老人裝的男女教友輪流拉動牛車下，人群隨著牛車隊伍往萬巒鄉赤山社區的聖嬰馬槽點緩慢移動，不到一公里的路程，走半個多小時，沿途聖歌瀰漫。晚間教堂還有望彌撒、聖歌表演等活動。
