蹲29年冤獄 紐約漢謀殺罪獲平反

美國紐約黑人男子麥卡勒姆（David McCallum）29年前被判謀殺罪入獄，在15日獲得平反。法官推翻了先前對麥卡勒姆的判決，免除了他的罪刑，可是當年跟他一同入獄的斯塔基（Willie Stuckey），則等不到這一天，已於數年前離世。

1985年10月20日，紐約皇后區一名20歲男子遭綁架及殺害。當年只有16歲的麥卡勒姆和斯塔基被指涉案，迅速被捕，並於隔年被判謀殺罪，判處入獄最少25年，最多要坐牢一輩子。

有律師早前發現，麥卡勒姆和斯塔基當年被判刑，只是基於一些證供，認為並不合理，要求法庭取消對麥卡勒姆的監禁並釋放他。

法官15日重審後，認為證供有誤，判麥卡勒姆無罪釋放。麥卡勒姆表示，「我終於可以回家了。我曾經放棄希望，以為沒機會了。」
