雖然沒能夠一鼓作氣，Lamigo桃猿的總冠軍只多等了1天，最終以4勝1敗擊退中信兄弟，勇奪中華職棒25年年度總冠軍、隊史第3冠。

Lamigo昨天(22日)輸球被追成3勝1敗，今天(23日)總冠軍爭霸第5戰，1局下二壘手郭嚴文發生要命失誤，該局失掉3分陷入落後。

桃猿打線面對江忠城，第5局才找到突破機會，林智平先敲出2分打點二壘安打，「大師兄」林智勝再敲安打追平戰局。前面失誤的郭嚴文將功折罪，右外野二壘安打送回超前分，Lamigo搶下4分大局逆轉戰況。

泰霸(Mitch Talbot)先發只投0.2局，因為手指流血提前退場。曾兆豪緊急中繼4.1局無失分表現精彩，是能夠演出逆轉勝的一大關鍵，終場Lamigo以8比3擊敗兄弟，搶下總冠軍賽第4勝成功封王！

Lamigo以4勝1敗擊退中信兄弟，繼2006年、2012年之後，奪得隊史第3座冠軍獎盃。
