暴風雪影響美國麻州核電廠關閉

美國麻薩諸塞州1座核能發電廠廠方說，由於暴風雪穿越當地，導致功率流中斷，電廠今天自動關閉，不過對大眾完全沒有危險。

美聯社報導，位於麻州普利茅斯（Plymouth）的皮葛林核能電廠（The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station）是該州唯一的核電廠，廠方在聲明中說，由於用來傳輸電流到電力網的電氣連結遭到阻斷，核電廠今天凌晨約4時左右自動關閉。此前，電力輸出已因風暴減為原本的20%。

官員說，核電廠關閉期間，電力由緊急柴油發電機組供應，如有必要，還能利用廠區外的電源。

經營核電廠的安特吉公司（Entergy）在推特貼文：「所有安全系統按照計畫執行，核電廠情況穩定。」
