上台才17個月的澳洲總理艾波特（Tony Abbott），今天通過對他領導統御的信任投票，在有關黨魁改選的動議表決中，61位黨內同志投下反對票，贊成改選者只有39票。

黨鞭魯多克（Philip Ruddock）說：「自由黨（Liberal Party）召開會議，進行投票，結果很清楚，反對改選61票，贊成改選為39票。」
