美國股市周四中場大幅下挫，道瓊指數一度大跌達230點。思科裁員與Wal-Mart公布第二季財報令人失望，為股市帶來沉重壓力。

台北時間23:54

道瓊工業平均指數下跌183.39點或1.20%至15154.27。

Nasdaq指數下跌48.23點或1.31%至3621.38。

S&P 500指數下跌19.22點或1.15%至1666.17。

Wal-Mart (WMT-US)公布第二季美國銷售低於預期。另一家零售商Kohl's (KSS-US)公布第二季銷售上升，但獲利下降，並調降全年獲利預估。

該二公司財報，加上思科公司(Cisco)(CSCO-US)消息，使得股市大幅下挫。該網路設備製造商公布，因經濟情況困難，計劃裁員4000人。

經濟消息方面，美國公布上周初次申請失業金人數減少1.5萬至32萬人，減少人數多過預期。美國勞工部亦公布，7月消費者物價指數(CPI)上升0.2%，符合預期。CPI為主要的通貨膨脹指標。

投資人持續找尋線索，判斷聯準會(Fed)何時開始緊縮貨幣政策。

分析師說，投資人仍感到緊張，不確定Fed下個月是否開始縮減購債計劃。

其他企業消息方面，J.C. Penney (JCP-US)股價上漲，投資經理人索羅斯透露他持有該陷困境零售商的股權數量。

Gannett (GCI-US)股價下跌，由巴菲特所經營的投資機構伯克夏海瑟威公司出脫該報紙股票。伯克夏在向證券交易委員會(SEC)申報的資料中，透露了持有該公司股票內容。

伯克夏第二季亦買進Dish Network (DISH-US)與Suncor Energy (SU-US)股票，並加碼通用汽車股票。

歐洲股市於早場交易中走弱，隨美國股市下跌，亦受到亞洲股市疲弱影響。

亞洲股市今日收低，上海綜合指數下跌近1%。日經指數大跌2.1%，日元走強帶來壓力。香港恆生指數持平。

Popcap工作室今年暑假推出的最新塔防大作《植物大戰殭屍 2》，延遲近一個月後 iOS 版已陸續在各國 App Store 上架，台灣 App Store 也開放下載。

 在上個月我們就先報導過《植物大戰殭屍2：時光機來了》遊戲內容，雖然遊戲主軸和玩法並沒有大變化，不過二代搭上現在正夯的時空穿樂劇情，場景走出自家後院提供古埃及、海賊窟與西部荒野 3 大主題關卡。每個主題關卡有38～40個小關，選擇主題後還可進入主題關卡地圖介面，玩家可以更細步地看到自己的進度等。

二代也提供新的植物和新的殭屍種類；操作上除了「點」之外，也新增「滑」、「捏」等方式進行操作。此外二代也不同於一代收費製，改為免費下載，不過羊毛當然是出在羊身上，部分植物必須花錢才能購買。

軍審法修正案今天生效，南部軍事法庭羈押的郭姓中校今天隨案移轉到高雄地院，審判長陳志銘今天下午召開接押庭後，認為他仍有串證和逃亡之虞，裁定續押。今天送到高雄高分院的8名在押被告和送到地院的1名在押被告共9人全都羈押。

郭姓中校涉貪汙案被羈押，今天上午被送到高雄地院拘留室，他表示自己從去年11月被羈押至今，軍法官每次羈押的理由都相同，找到證人後也不傳訊，做法消極，判移轉到地院後能獲交保。蒞庭檢察官認為郭姓中校身為海巡人員，知悉許多走私管道和偷渡方式，有逃亡之虞，向院方聲押。

全球智慧手機第2季銷量比一年前成長46.5%至2.25億支，功能手機同時期銷量則下滑21%至2.1億支。這是智慧手機銷量歷來首度比功能手機多。

Google的Android手機作業系統上季市占率增至79%，比去年同期的64.2%高，領先地位擴大，也顯示Android手機成功吸引功能手機用戶琵琶別抱。排名第二的是蘋果iOS，市占率從一年前的18.8%降至14.2%。

微軟Windows Phone作業系統雖仍落後Android和iOS，但市占率增至3.3%，且首度超越黑莓機系統（BlackBerry），成為市占率第三的智慧手機平台。

Android和iOS系統上季共包辦93.2%的智慧手機市場，凸顯應用程式開發商為何選擇優先支援這兩個軟體。顧能首席研究分析師古伯塔說，微軟上季的智慧手機銷量和市占率都成長，但仍須持續吸引開發商，以提高對消費者的吸引力。

顧能指出，全球各地智慧手機銷售上季都出現成長，增幅以亞太地區的74.1%最大，其次為拉丁美洲的55.7%。

三星上季仍是全球最大手機製造商，第2季整體手機銷售市占率為24.7%，智慧手機市占率從去年同期的29.7%增至31.7%。

蘋果上季智慧手機市占率降到14.2%，位居第二，iPhone出貨量也比一年前增加10.2%，但平均售價暴跌至2007年iPhone問世來最低，再度提高蘋果推出低價iPhone的可能性。

顧能預測，今年的全球手機銷量將達18.2億支。古伯塔說，第2季銷售仍符合顧能的預期，因此不太需要調整銷售預估，製造商及時在假日銷售旺季推出旗艦裝置，加上智慧手機價格持續下跌，將帶動消費者下半年擴大採用智慧手機。
