美國《富比士》雜誌公布全美大學排名，加州的史丹佛大學和波莫納學院分別拿下第1、第2名，也是《富比士》公布全美大學排名6年來，西岸大學首度包辦前兩名。

據路透社報導，美國《富比士》雜誌公布全美大學排名，加州的史丹佛大學和波莫納學院分別拿下第1、第2名，也是《富比士》公布全美大學排名6年來，西岸大學首度包辦前兩名。
根據人民網報導，《富比士》雜誌委托美國大學學費與績效中心評量全美650所學院和大學，評比標準包含學生滿意度、畢業後成就、學生債務、畢業率和大陸全國競賽獎項等。
史丹佛大學位於北加州矽谷地區，屬於教學研究型大學。由於大一生續讀率和學生入職場起薪皆高，讓學校從去年的第3名躍上第1名寶座。史丹佛目前有19945名學生，每年學費約為58846美元。
規模較小的波莫納學院勇奪第2，目前有1586名學生，每年學費約57041美元。波莫納學院位於洛杉磯以東約50公里，僅有大學部。
去(2012)年榜首普林斯頓大學今年拿下第3名，耶魯大學第4，紐約市的哥倫比亞大學第5名；這3所學校皆位於美東。排名前5的大學，學費介於54789美元至61640美元。
前10名的大學或學院中，以位於麻塞諸塞州的學府最多，包含第8名的哈佛大學、第9名的威廉斯學院和第10名的麻省理工學院(MIT)。
加州大學伯克利分校排名第22，同時也獲選全美最佳公立大學。全美百大學院和大學中，公立學校占23所。
在8所常春藤聯盟大學中，4所擠進前10。紐約州的康乃爾大學則由去年的第51名，躍升至第19名；賓夕法尼亞大學拿下第11名、羅德島州的布朗大學拿下第12名、新罕布夏州達特茅斯學院排名第16。位於喬治亞州亞特蘭大的莫豪斯學院進步幅度最大，躍升235個名次，來到第285名。
