陳保基:錢鼠驗出狂犬病比狗嚴重

【連線報導】狂犬病疫情拉警報！一名家住台東市的婦人，前天在家突被竄出的錢鼠咬傷，該隻錢鼠經農委會檢驗，昨證實染狂犬病毒，農委會主委陳保基昨受訪表示：「錢鼠驗出狂犬病比狗嚴重！」因錢在家中或野外亂竄，且包含貓、狗都會追逐，可能會交叉感染。專家憂心表示，錢鼠是都會區住家、水溝內常見的老鼠，如今狂犬病毒已跨越物種傳開，「疫情相當嚴峻」。

另在南投縣水里鄉昨也驗出又有鼬獾染狂犬病毒，總計國內已有5隻鼬獾、1隻錢鼠證實染狂犬病毒。
