外交部提醒 辦護照勿用戴放大片照片

外交部領事事務局副局長尹新垣今天提醒，近來有多起民眾向他國申辦簽證或居留證時，因護照照片中的當事人配戴彩色瞳孔放大片，與實際面貌落差頗大，遭到拒件，提醒國人在辦理護照時，盡量避免使用類似照片。

尹新垣指出，外交部領事事務局已於網站及相關「申辦晶片護照相片規格說明」摺頁加註說明文字，提醒「申辦晶片護照時，宜避免使用配戴有色隱形眼鏡或彩色瞳孔放大片的相片，以免因相片與實際相貌特徵差異過大，向外國申辦簽證遭到退件，或於海外通關時遭遇困擾，造成不便」。而美國在台協會網頁中，亦在「非移民簽證的照片」的項目下，標示「不得配戴有色隱形眼鏡」，因此也提醒民眾注意。
