台北市長郝龍斌25日表示，雖然軍方說要查明真相，甚至處理未來軍中人權，但做為已無法讓大家信服，他認為應引進公正單位或團體介入，他直言，目前民眾不只對軍方失去信心，甚至延伸到整個政府，整件事情應該盡快處理，不該讓民眾的不信任感持續擴大。
郝龍斌下午出席「媒體有約」記者會，強調軍隊訓練本就應嚴格，畢竟役男需要保家衛國，自己當兵時也受過嚴格的訓練，但整個過程需合理，不能惡意體罰或虐待，這才是問題所在。
郝龍斌坦言，洪仲丘案雖然軍方有心解決，但民眾已經失去信心，同時對政府也出現了信任危機，絕不能讓這樣的不信任感持續擴大，要盡快處理。
他認為，軍中人權如果在目前的封閉體系下，是無法昭公信，若大家都無法信服，可以找公正第三單位或團體介入軍中人權，未來也能供服役的官兵陳情。
郝龍斌坦言，既然馬英九總統說「管定這件事」，就應盡一切司法手段，盡快查明真相，而且要找一個讓民眾都信服的調查單位，這樣才有用。
郝龍斌最後也推出新舉措，未來若役男遇到任何問題，也可利用台北市政府發送的關心卡，撥打上頭電話進行申訴，會有專人24小時服務。
