勞工於工作場所發生死亡事件，僱主應報警處理，由警方通報地檢署檢察官會同法醫相驗，確認死亡原因，由法醫開具死亡證明
在「自殺」、「他殺」、「意外」未確定前，雇主僅需道義協助家屬處理後事
除非確認為「意外」死亡，僱主才會涉及職災賠償
