【蔡智銘／台中報導】位於太平市鬧區的運動場外人行道未設殘障坡道，輪椅族上下人行道險象環生，不少照護著推著老人家「硬上」，結果不是人仰馬翻，就是乾 脆放棄，遶路而行。市議員李麗華今天實地測試，發現人行道高度超過20公分，得墊上石板，才能勉強把輪椅推上去，人行道高低起伏不平，還有斜度，非常危 險，輪椅族大嘆上下人行道好像接受酷刑，應該改稱人「刑」道才對。
 
運動場主管單位教育局體育處人員表示，體育場目前委託區公所管理，民眾如有需求，可以透過公所反映，會視經費狀況進行改善。
