恐怖　螞蟻部隊攻擊水銀燈

今天嘉義地區雨勢不斷，中埔鄉後庄地區晚上出現俗稱「大水螞蟻」的飛蟲部隊，尤其在水銀燈底下的數量驚人，超商最明亮的燈管更是遭大舉入侵，令人起雞皮疙瘩，來往民眾大喊「好噁心！」紛紛走避；幸好螞蟻雄兵在20分鐘後逐漸散去。
 
其實那是一種白蟻，性喜潮濕，在下雨前的高濕度條件下，適合交配繁殖，因而離開巢穴，飛舞於燈下。（李宗祐／嘉義報導）
