慈濟受邀赴菲參與教宗萬人彌撒

天主教宗方濟各明天將在菲律賓舉行萬人彌撒，慈濟今天表示，主辦單位感謝慈濟協助海燕受災鄉親，因此邀請慈濟參與盛典，慈濟也將傳達證嚴上人的祝福。

慈濟基金會表示，天主教教宗方濟各將於明天在菲律賓舉行萬人彌撒盛典，慈濟受邀以貴賓身分與會，主辦單位特別提供慈濟60個位置，以表達教宗誠摯邀約的心意，也感恩慈濟救助海燕受災鄉親、援建受到海燕颱風摧毀的聖嬰教堂等。

慈濟基金會表示，接獲主辦單位邀約後，證嚴上人即刻指派慈濟基金會文發處主任何日生、慈濟菲律賓分會執行長李偉嵩及慈濟志工代表共60人前往與會致意。

慈濟代表成員15日也前往拜會居間邀約的帕洛大主教（Archbishop John Du），並由慈濟基金會文發處主任何日生代表證嚴上人致贈大主教「無量心燈」一盞，傳達證嚴上人的感恩與祝福，大主教也特別感謝慈濟對菲律賓的援助。
