埃及內政部長發言人拉提夫(Hani Abdel Latif)今天(7日)表示，埃及軍方2013年推翻前總統穆希(Mohamed Morsi)之後，所引發的暴力衝突，埃及今天首度就涉案者，執行了死刑。

拉提夫表示，涉及暴力衝突的拉馬丹(Mahmoud Ramadan)，已經在當地時間今天上午7時(台灣時間今天下午1時)遭到絞死，成為涉及當時暴力衝突的人當中首位遭執行死刑者。

在埃及軍政府的速審速決政策下，有好幾百名穆希的支持被判處死刑。聯合國已經表示，這是近代史上前所未見的情形。
