現在的人對臉書的依賴，就像是人都要呼吸一樣重要，就連在偷東西也不忘了要玩一下。

依據美國《CBS美國哥倫比亞廣播公司》報導，Nicholas Wig現年26歲被稱為「世界上最愚蠢的竊賊」。Nicholas Wig到明尼蘇達州行竊，偷走屋主的現金、信用卡和名錶。

由於外頭下雨，這名竊賊遺留下來的牛仔褲是濕的，還有皮帶和一雙NIKE的運動鞋，但更愚蠢的是，他使用屋主的電腦，登入自己的帳號玩了一下臉書，卻忘記登出。

屋主 James Wood回家發現後，沒有馬上打電話報警，而是透過Nicholas Wig的臉書po文，公布他的惡行惡狀，並提醒他有東西沒帶走。

最後，James Wood和警方在Nicholas Wig回到屋子要取回「遺物」時將他逮捕，他將面臨10的牢飯和2萬美金罰款(約60萬新台幣)。
