釀酒人正與費城人慎重地洽談關於Jonathan Papelbon的交易事宜，不過雙方現在所遇問題是，明年Papelbon的選擇權成立，費城人該付多少錢？

Papelbon在2011年與費城人簽下4年總值5000萬美元合約，是當時終結者最高價合約，今年若保持健康、出賽達到48場以上，2016年將有1300萬美元的選擇權。

釀酒人有意網羅這位明星終結者，費城人也願意在交易中給予部分現金，不過根據美媒報導，雙方尚未談妥價碼。

Papelbon近三年拿下106次救援成功，合計198局投出212次三振、44次四壞球保送，自責分率2.45，去年則出賽66場，2勝3負另39次救援成功，自責分率2.04。

曾經放話「不是來費城人輸球的」，Papelbon這幾年傳出和費城人關係不好，球團也有意送走他，這回釀酒人表達高度興趣，費城人可是樂觀其成。
