陳為廷襲胸案 施明德：應給年輕人機會

欲參選苗栗立委補選的學運領袖陳為廷自爆襲胸事件，社會正反評價不一，民進黨前主席施明德被媒體詢問對此事的看法時表示，所有從政工作者都必須要接受檢驗，這是必經的過程。對於外界質疑陳為廷是為了選舉才出面道歉，施明德說，這個社會常常懷疑別人的動機，但各種解釋都是站在自己主觀的立場，他不想介入，但「一個人願意站出來承認自己過去的錯誤，我是比較站在年輕人應該給他機會這邊。」
