GIF 動態圖檔以前是很受到歡迎的圖片格式，包含了 MSN 的動態表情，網路影片不發達之前都是用 GIF 動態圖檔來呈現，到現在其實還是有很多人在用，不過因為 Facebook 不支援的關係，感覺似乎比較少看到！以前我都是用 Ulead GIF Animator 來編輯 GIF 動態圖檔，不過這套工具現在應該已經絕版了，也沒有更新的版本。Cyotek 所推出的 Gif Animator 也是編輯 GIF 動態圖檔的工具，功能上更加豐富，算是眾多 GIF 工具中比較專業級的。

編輯上能方便的調整圖片大小、設定背景顏色、設定每一格畫面的秒數，編輯模式能是直的、也可以設定為橫的，看大家習慣哪種編輯模式，編輯完成後當然也少不了預覽功能，也有優化圖片的設定等等，功能上頗全面的。
